Thrassos Oikonomou

I'm Thrassos Oikonomou, presently working towards a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My research is centered within the Wireless Communications and Information Processing (WCIP) Group, under the supervision of Prof. George Karagiannidis. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2000, my academic journey began with a notable involvement in mathematical olympiads during high school. This early exposure to analytical thinking paved the way for my decision to enroll in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). My research focuses on the dynamic field of Wireless Communication Systems, Waveform Design, Next Generation Modulation Schemes, and Signal Processing. With a commitment to advancing these domains, I am driven by a passion for contributing to the cutting-edge developments in communication technology.
